Reserve Bank of India: र‍िजर्व बैंक की तरफ से की गई कार्रवाई में मुंबई के ‘द कपोल को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लिमिटेड’ का लाइसेंस भी रद्द क‍िया गया है. आरबीआई की तरफ से कहा गया क‍ि बैंक के पास पर्याप्त पूंजी नहीं है और कमाई की संभावनाएं भी नहीं हैं.

RBI Imposes Penalty on Indian Bank: र‍िजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंड‍िया (RBI) की तरफ से बैंक‍िंग न‍ियमों का अनुपालन नहीं करने पर अलग-अलग बैंकों के ख‍िलाफ कार्रवाई की जाती है. हाल ही में कुछ बैंकों का लाइसेंस रद्द क‍िये जाने के बाद अब आरबीआई (RBI) ने देश के सबसे बड़े सरकारी बैंक स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंड‍िया (SBI) और इंडियन बैंक (Indian Bank) समेत पब्‍ल‍िक सेक्‍टर के तीन बैंकों पर जुर्माना लगाया है. केंद्रीय बैंक की तरफ से जारी बयान में कहा गया क‍ि एसबीआई पर 1.3 करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया गया है.

आरबीआई ने क्‍यों लगाया जुर्माना?

आरबीआई की तरफ से बताया गया क‍ि यह जुर्माना ‘ऋण और अग्रिम - वैधानिक और अन्य प्रतिबंध’ ('Loans and Advances - Statutory and Other Restrictions') और ग्रुप के अंदर लेन-देन व कर्ज के प्रबंधन पर जारी निर्देशों के कुछ प्रावधानों का पालन नहीं करने को लेकर लगाया गया है. आरबीआई (RBI) की तरफ से कहा गया क‍ि ‘लोन और अग्रिम - वैधानिक और अन्य प्रतिबंध’, केवाईसी (KYC) और ‘भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (जमा पर ब्याज दर) निर्देश, 2016 के कुछ प्रावधानों का अनुपालन नहीं करने को लेकर इंडियन बैंक (Indian Bank) पर 1.62 करोड़ का जुर्माना लगाया गया है.

पंजाब एंड सिंध बैंक पर भी जुर्माना

इसके अलावा, पंजाब एंड सिंध बैंक (Punjab & Sindh Bank) पर एक करोड़ रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया गया है. यह जुर्माना जमाकर्ता शिक्षा और जागरूकता कोष योजना (Depositor Education and Awareness Fund Scheme) के कुछ न‍ियमों का पालन नहीं करने को लेकर लगाया गया है. आरबीआई ने फेडबैंक फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज ल‍िमि‍टेड पर भी 8.80 लाख रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया है. गैर-बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों (NBFC) में धोखाधड़ी रोकने से जुड़े कुछ प्रावधानों का पालन नहीं करने को लेकर जुर्माना लगाया गया है.

आरबीआई (RBI) की तरफ से कहा गया क‍ि बैंकों और एनबीएफसी (NBFC) पर जुर्माना न‍ियमों के पालन करने में कमियों के आधार पर लगाया गया है. इसका मकसद उनकी तरफ से अपने ग्राहकों के साथ किए गए किसी भी लेनदेन या समझौते की वैधता को प्रभावित करना नहीं है. र‍िजर्व बैंक की तरफ से की गई कार्रवाई में मुंबई के ‘द कपोल को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक लिमिटेड’ का लाइसेंस भी रद्द क‍िया गया है. आरबीआई की तरफ से कहा गया क‍ि बैंक के पास पर्याप्त पूंजी नहीं है और कमाई की संभावनाएं भी नहीं हैं.
